Q1: How much does backdrop printing cost in Dubai?
Price depends on three things: the size, the material, and whether hardware is included. Roll-up and X banners sit at the low end, fabric and pop-up walls in the middle, and wooden backdrops and LED screens at the top because they involve fabrication, rigging or equipment. Send the size, the artwork and the event date and you will get a fixed quote with nothing added later.
Q2: How long does a custom backdrop take to produce?
Standard production is 4-7 working days after you approve the digital proof in writing. Roll-up banners and foam board signs are usually at the faster end. Wooden backdrops with 3D letters or lighting, and full exhibition builds, need longer. If your event is sooner than that, say so at enquiry stage rather than after ordering, because rush slots are limited but they do exist.
Q3: What size should a step and repeat backdrop be?
For two or three people in shot, 8 x 8 ft (244 x 244 cm) works. For a press line or group photos, go to 10 x 8 ft or wider. Keep each logo tile around 20-30 cm and set the grid on a diagonal so a complete logo always lands in frame. Leave the bottom 60 cm plain, because in almost every photograph that strip is hidden behind people anyway.
Q4: Fabric or vinyl: which is better for photos?
Fabric, in almost every case. Knitted polyester has a matte surface that absorbs camera flash, so you get an even wall instead of a hot spot across your logo. Vinyl costs less and handles weather and scuffing better, which makes it the right pick for fence banners, building fascia and anything that will be rained on or leaned against.
Q5: Can I reuse my existing frame and only reprint the graphic?
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to run a new campaign. Tell us the frame make and size, or send a photo of the corner joint and the groove, and we will print a skin or panel set to that tension pattern. Frames bought from other suppliers are fine. If the frame is damaged we will tell you before printing rather than after.
Q6: Do you install inside Dubai World Trade Centre and ADNEC?
Yes. For any venue installation we need the hall number, stand number, build-up dates and times, and the organiser rules on height and rigging. Our team applies for contractor passes where the venue requires them. Overnight installation is normal at both venues during major shows, so plan artwork approval at least a week before build-up day.
Q7: What file format do you need for a backdrop?
A vector file (AI, EPS or PDF) with fonts outlined is ideal. If you only have a photograph or a raster design, supply it at 300 dpi at one-tenth of the final size. Always tell us the exact finished dimensions in millimetres and include Pantone codes for brand colours. If your file is not print-ready our design team will fix it and send a proof back for approval.
Q8: Is there a minimum order, and do you deliver outside Dubai?
There is no minimum order on printed backdrops, so a single roll-up banner or one photo wall is a normal order for us. We deliver to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, and we can ship to a hotel, a venue store or an exhibition stand directly rather than to your office.
